The Rowan University Foundation office wished
to create a place within the Universitys Web site where prospective
donors, who wanted to learn more about the Foundation, could be directed.
The site should provide information about contribution methods and
specific areas of need, showcase other donors contributions,
and highlight special support opportunities, such as in-kind donations.
The office felt it very important that all contact information for
making a donation be clear and easily accessible to the site visitor.

- Worked with office staff to direct the development and collection
of content for the site
- Conducted usability tests with the prototypes and the production
version of the site to assess the information architecture and
navigation system
- Created a centrally located, dynamic content area on the home
page that provides randomly selected descriptions of historically
significant contributions to the University
- Established an area on the home page where constantly changing
fund raising events could be highlighted and advertised
- Designed the visual interface and applied it to the entire site
using templates
- Trained staff to maintain the site

The Foundation now has a reference for prospective donors who wish
to learn more about the facts and alternatives when making a donation.
The URL is included in all of the Foundations promotional
materials, ensuring that up-to-date information will always be available.
Using the supplied templates, office staff can update and create
new and additional areas of content while staying consistent with
the sites preexisting design
